DAVID HENRI – Director-Writer-Producer

David Henri is a 15-year veteran of film and television who has worked directly with some of the best directors in the world, including Steven Soderbergh, Ron Howard, Ang Lee, and Steven Spielberg.

Henri wrote, produced and directed a popular series of short films, called ROOM 626, about the goings-on in a single hotel room. 

Henri is probably best known as the sought-after creator of high-end video and graphics for use as playback in studio feature films and network television shows.  

He has created video content for films such as IRON MAN 3, CONTAGION, THOR, THE SOCIAL NETWORK, ANGELS & DEMONS, HULK, MINORITY REPORT, and countless hours for TV shows such as PARKS AND RECREATION, JOURNEYMAN, and THE WEST WING.

Henri is also the Video Supervisor for Aaron Sorkin's THE NEWSROOM, which is currently filming its second season for HBO.

Henri conceived, wrote, directed and produced FINDING FOCUS.  He is also developing his original screenplay, THE GIFT, a neo-noir thriller about a hitman framed for murder.

JACQ. LESKO – Producer

Jacqueline Lesko began her career at Icon Productions, where she worked as an assistant to Mel Gibson on  Braveheart

After Braveheart, she became assistant to producer Steve McEveety from development through release on Icon's 187.

From there, Jacq. expanded her experience working with a variety of talented producers and directors, such as Paul Reiser on Mad About You, then Blake Edwards and Julie Andrews. She worked with Tom Shadyac on Bruce Almighty, Craig Mazin on Superhero Movie!, and Denise Di Novi on Crazy, Stupid, Love.

Jacq. balanced these demanding positions while producing the short film, The Temple of Phenomenal Things and was Executive Producer on the award-winning George Lucas in Love (1999).

She then went on to Produce, Co-Write and Co-Direct the feature length documentary Kiss My GritsThe HERstory of Women in Punk and Hard Rock in 2001. In 2004, she completed the 35mm short film The Vision starring Sheeri Rappaport (CSINYPD Blue) and Jason Lewis (Sex and the City). Her short premiered at the Los Angeles Intl. Shorts Film Festival and went on to screen at The Sarasota Film Festival, VisionFest in New York City, Women in Film’s Independent Film Series and IFP/LA Cinema Lounge.

In 2006, Jacq. produced the one-woman play My Journey to Becoming a Super Woman that went on to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. In 2009, she completed the feature length screenplay, Payback’s A Bitch, which is the expanded story of her 35mm short film The Vision.

In addition to producing Finding Focus, Jacq. is currently writing, producing and directing a series of commercials mocking feminine hygiene products. She is also producing Joseph Levy’s documentary film Spinning Plates.

ALEX MISKEI – Editor

Alex Miskei graduated from the Production program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2011 and since then has pursued a freelance career as a filmmaker and photographer.    

While finishing up his editing concentration at USC, Miskei worked as an assistant editor on the independent documentary, In the Room: Chasing the Light, and shortly after graduating, he met David Henri and began editing Finding Focus.

Since 2011, Miskei has worked as a producer on several independent documentaries, as well as the production designer for Anita Ho, an independent feature and Best Narrative Feature winner at the NYLA Intl. Film Festival. 

Over the last two years while freelancing in Los Angeles, he has also partnered with The Floating Doctors, a non-profit based in Panama, to shoot and edit documentary and promotional material for the cause.
